Incoloy Alloy A-286 (also known as A286 stainless steel) is a nickel-based and iron-based austenitic superalloy, suitable for applications requiring high strength and corrosion resistance up to 1300 ° F (704 ° C) and low stress at higher temperatures. The mechanical properties of this alloy are improved by proper solution annealing and precipitation hardening.

This alloy has excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, which aims to maximize creep and stress fracture properties, but its strength is reduced. A-286 material can obtain high strength level after cold working and aging, and has wide application in high-temperature fasteners and springs.
